Journeys' Sad Summer Fest brings Summer fun with live performances by All Time Low, The Maine, Destroy Boys, and more!

For the ultimate Summer festival experience, Journeys is hosting Sad Summer Fest tour from August through September 2021 throughout the nation from Pennsylvania to California. The summertime festival will feature live performances by several prominent and underground rock groups such as All Time Low, The Story So Far, The Maine, Grayscale, Movements, and Destroy Boys. The heated festival will feature live music, games, photo booths, and abundant food and drink vendor selections. Sad Summer Fest will kick off their tour in Sacramento, California on Friday, August 6th. The second festival tour date will take place on Saturday, August 7th at City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California presented by Nederlander Concerts

Along with live music and entertainment, Sad Summer Fest provides philanthropy to local communities where the festival will be touring to by partnering with various national and local non-profit organizations, Their philanthropic efforts are motivated to inspire and educate attendees on volunteering and to provide local and national resources. The collaboration with the philanthropic organizations will influence local residents to give back to their community by volunteer efforts, campaign awareness, and fundraising endeavors.

The bands headlining Sad Summer Fest finale in Anaheim, California are Destroy Boys, The Maine, Movements, Grayscale and All Time Low.

DESTROY BOYS

Left Coast Feminist Punk Rockers, Destroy Boys, will be performing at Sad Summer Fest this year. The Sacramento musicians, Alexia Roditis and Vi Mayugba tribute their musical style to Classic Rock icons such as Debbie Harry from Blondie. While still attending high school, their debut album, ‘Sorry, Mom’, was highlighted by Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong in Rolling Stone magazine. Along with this recognition, Destroy Boys have received two awards for ‘Best Punk/Post Punk Band’ and Teen band categories. THE MAINE

The Maine obtained their large fan base and notoriety through their post-show meet and greats and indie music festival performances at memorable festivals such as Warped Tour. The group are currently on tour performing various cities in Sad Summer Fest through August 2021. The Maine have released their latest album ‘ XOXO: From Love and Anxiety in Real Time’ in coordination with their tour performances at Sad Summer Festival. MOVEMENTS

From Rancho Santa Margarita, California, Movements’ music and lyrics have been influenced by band member, Patrick Miranda battle with mental health and personal topics. Their musical style influences include My Chemical Romance, Underoath, Good Charlotte, and more! The band combines music genres such as Alternative Rock, Post Hardcore, and Emo. Movements kick off their tour at Sad Summer Fest on August 6th. They will continue their Fall tour in the United States and kick-off their Spring 2022 tour in Europe. GRAYSCALE

ALL TIME LOW

All Time Low will be headlining Sad Summer Fest along with touring with The Maine in Fall 2021 throughout the United States. While in high school, the band developed their name from the song lyrics of ‘Head on Collision’ by one of their musical influences, New Found Glory. Their musical influences include Blink-182, Green Day, Saves The Day, and more!
