Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival to celebrate their 5th year anniversary with performances by Tame Impala, Megan Thee Stallion, Flying Lotus, Gus Dapperton, DUCKWRTH, and more!

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival announced the last missing piece of their lineup, their infamous PoWoW! An electrifying jam session where artists that have played throughout the day come together and jam with no set direction other than to have fun. This year’s Funk-themed PoWoW will be led by George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, noteworthy guitarist, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, bassist, MonoNeon, and a other surprise guests. Previous PoWows have featured performances by Tom Morello, Snoop Dogg & The Roots, John Oates, Chaka Khan, Griz, Vampire Weekend, the Avett Brothers and more!

This will be Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival’s 5th music festival anniversary. The festival will take place on March 3rd through 6th at the Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Florida. The festival playground features an 800-acre property with vast green fields that make for the perfect campgrounds and a place to call home for the weekend. This year's lineup includes live performances by Megan Thee Stallion, Tame Impala, Rezz, Griz, Porter Robinson Two Feet, Denzel Curry, Gus Dapperton, Flying Lotus, Goth Babe, Pepper, Duckwrth and so many more! It’s difficult to imagine how this festival can get any better.

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival does more than just piecing together a lineup for a weekend, it creates an immersive experience for every attendee. During the day you can choose to stroll through Chobeewobee Village for enveloping art, workshops, yoga, meditation and healing circles, arts & crafts, head to Aquachobee beach for a swim or music at the Aquachobee stage. If you happen to still be ready for more after a packed day of incredible artists and the headliners ending the night at the Grove- you can head to Jungle 51 or the Incendia stage that just so happen to only come to life at night

DUCKWRTH

Southern California native, Duckwrth is a rapper, songwriter, graphic designer, fashion designer, but certainly not your typical rapper. His vibrant style and textured visuals pair energetically with his music. Duckwrth has played festivals around the globe and opened for artists such as Billie Eilish, N*E*R*D, Anderson .Paak, Rich Chigga and Louis The Child. Some of his musical influences include Kanye West, the Clark Sisters, Outkast, The Casualties, and Bad Brains. His latest album “SG8” was released in September 2021 and dives into the fears and anxieties of the pandemic while also seeking some kind of normalcy.

GUS DAPPERTON

Brendan Patrick Rice is an indie singer and songwriter from Warwick, New York who is known by the alias, Gus Dapperton. He began making hip-hop beats at the age of fourteen and released his music in 2016. He gained traction a year later after releasing “I’m Just Snacking” through his velvety voice and dreamy visuals. Since then, he has written songs for shows such as “13 Reasons Why.” Dapperton released two studio-length albums. The most recent titled ‘Orca’ was released in September 2020. The album features crooning melodies, interweaving guitars, and modern synth-pop sounds.

FLYING LOTUS

Steven Ellison also known as Flying Lotus or FlyLo, is a rapper and barrier breaking multi-genre producer and DJ from Los Angeles, California. FlyLo draws from various musical genres such as jazz, funk, electronica, hip-hop, psychedelia, and dubstep. He produces what we could describe as explosive experimental tracks. In 2019, he released “Flamagra”, an hour long, 27 track album with features from Solange, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak, George Clinton, Toro y Moi, Denzel Curry, and several other artists. His approach is hard hitting which adds new elements to experimental hip-hop. FlyLo’s latest project involved writing a 200-track score for the Netflix series “ Yasuke.” His DJ sets are entrancing, energetic, experimental, and something you won’t want to miss.

After a two year gap due to the pandemic, OMF is hitting just as hard this year. For information on tickets and car camping passes, visit their website here and shuttle services can be found on their website here.
