Switchfoot BRO-AM Beach Festival
Get your surf boards and flip flops ready, because summer is about to kick off on the California coast!
With a knack for good music and a desire to give back, local San Diego rock musicians, Switchfoot, will once again hit the waves and stage on June 30, 2018 for the14th Annual BRO-AM Beach Fest. Drawing crowds of over 17,000 people and counting, the event will be held at Moonlight State Beach and feature attractions such as surfing contests and a plethora of different vendors lining the sand. Main draws will also include a top-notch set of live performances by Colony House, Sure Sure, and the winning band from the 91X Battle for the BRO-AM. Switchfoot themselves will even close out the afternoon with a scheduled set beginning at 3:35pm.
In addition to this star-quality lineup of events, the festival also boasts a unique philanthropic and charitable purpose. In fact, the Switchfoot BRO-AM Beach Festival provides a wonderful opportunity for fans to both hit the water, and rally around in support of a good cause. While general admission is free to all, there are paid ticket options available for both VIP stage pit access, and skybox lunch and table for ten (http://broam.org/event/14th-annual-switchfoot-bro-beach-fest/). Switchfoot will also hold a benefit party on June 28 which will include a meet-and-greet, catered restaurant dinner, silent auction, and live performance (http://broam.org/event/2018-bro-benefit-party/). Proceeds from both the festival and benefit party will go towards supporting local youth initiatives with organizations such as the Challenged Athletes’ Foundation, Feeding San Diego, and VH1 Save the Music.
