Kara Connolly Invites Listeners to Stop and Smell the Roses

Like a refreshing sonic oasis amidst a buzzing jungle of towering ambitions, Kara Connolly’s latest performance at the iconic Hotel Cafe was both a warm welcome back and a timely reminder to set aside the frantic hustle-and-bustle of our everyday experience and enjoy the moments that make life so special.

A festive night celebrating the release of her new single ‘Roses,’ the intimate concert was Connolly’s first in-person show since pre-pandemic days, and served as the perfect follow up to her noteworthy virtual appearance on KTLA News one day prior. The joy of the singer-songwriter’s triumphant return was clearly felt throughout the room of the historic Los Angeles venue, and as friends, family, and fans made their way inside, they were not only greeted with a lovely evening of shimmering pop choruses, but were enlightened with inspirational words of wisdom through the powerful medium of song.

A two-time Hollywood Music in Media Awards nominee for Best Independent Music Video and Best Message Song/Social Impact, Connolly is known for the impactful statements behind her music, providing universal lessons we can all take to heart.

And whether it be the motivation to search for a brighter future (Something More), let go of past negativity (Life in Rear View), or stop and smell the roses, there was a little something for everyone that night… plus, a little extra fun.

Complimenting her poignant lyrics, Connolly enjoyed interacting with friends and fans throughout the show. Giving a warm shout out to a few of her musical collaborators while performing two exciting unreleased tracks, delivering a rose to a crowd-picked audience member during her song ‘Nice Guy,’ and passing a bouquet to a fan visiting from across the country, the songstress guaranteed a delightfully memorable evening for all in attendance.

A charismatic personality and a talented artist, make sure to visit Kara’s official website and follow along on social media for upcoming shows, additional information, and more!
