STRFKR

The Sound music venue grew in capacity throughout the evening. The stage featured artwork of lips and hand imagery. The equipment appeared sci-fi like with gear featuring colorful nodes and large keyboard equipment with a multiple of chords. STRFKR walked upon the stage and began the show. They performed a couple of songs which unfortunately they had to pause due to technical difficulties they experienced with their equipment. Despite technical difficulties, STRFKR persevered and pushed through their set at The Sound. During their Joshua Tree performance the night before, their equipment was snowed on. Even though it snowed at their Joshua tree show, the band continued to perform a couple of songs until they were unable to. After the performance, the group worked together to dry their equipment in preparation for their show in San Diego.

STRFKR performed new music such as ‘Feelings,’ ‘Together Forever,’ and ‘Always/Never’ from their latest album, ‘Parallel Realms,’ was which released on March 1st on Polyvinyl records. They also performed classic tracks from their discography such as ‘Medicine,’ ‘Golden Light,’ ‘Open Your Eyes,’ and more! The audience members enjoyed the sporadic bursts of confetti that were streamed into the crowd in between sets. Crowd-goers mentioned their favorite past times of seeing STRFKR perform such as their music festival performance at Shabang in San Luis Obsipo, California. The background visuals provided a mesmerizing visual display while enjoying the Dream Pop music. The group performed two encores at the end of the night which made the audience elated. After the show, music fans quickly raced to their merchandise table to purchase STRFKR memorabilia. A music fan purchased STRFKR’s entire vinyl collection.
