The Coronas light up the stage at The Sinclair in Boston

The Coronas are an Indie Irish rock band from Dublin made up of four band members Danny O'Reilly, Dave McPhillips, Graham Knox, and Conor Egan. This Irish multi-platinum-selling band have released five studio albums, Heroes or Ghosts (2007), Tony Was an Ex-Con (2009), Closer to You (2011) The Long Way (2014) & Trust The Wire (2017).

The Coronas came on stage with a blaze of lights and high energy. They played to a packed venue of both Irish and American fans. Front-man Danny O’Reilly is an exceptional lead singer and performer, charismatic on stage, his voice and stage presence excel as he interacts with the audience, it’s clear everyone is here to have a good time.

The Coronas are talented musicians who came to perform and make their audience have a night to remember. It was a night to leave your problems at the door, and enjoy the music; there was a feeling of joy in the venue as fans sang along to new and old songs. They didn’t forget to mention missing band member Graham Knox (Knoxy) and dedicate a song to him and his wife on the birth of their baby. The talented John Broe from Thanks Brother filled in for him.

Overall The Coronas prove to have that type of something-for-everyone appeal and put on a great show. We hope to see them back in Boston soon.
