South Florida Seafood Bonanza

Foodies gathered to hand pick their seafood dish at the Coconut Grove Seafood Festival. The waterfront festival provided guests a location to sample seafood from a large array of local vendors. The event took place at the tropical location of Miami Marine Stadium on October 16th. Guests were transported to a Bahamian location with Caribbean music performances and tropical cocktails by a seaside venue.

Notable gourmet restaurants served their specialty dish such as Old Lisbon, Latin House, GK Bistronomie, Tapelia, Blue Lisbon, Happy Wine, and King of Racks. The Shipwreck Bar & Lounge featured live acoustic music and crafted cocktails. The Kitchen Lab presented cooking workshops featuring a “Battle On The Bay” contest. Local chefs competed in challenges for the Best Ceviche, Best Paella, Best Fish Taco, and Best Sushi roll. Guests who purchased VIP tickets enjoyed a VIP Lounge with an open bar and complimentary cigar pairing with hand rolled cigars. Bartenders served refreshments, canned beer, and wine bottles to guests.

The Coconut Grove Seafood Festival had an assortment of fresh seafood from lobsters, shrimp, crab, crawfish, fish fillet, and calamari. The festival also maintained a focus on preserving the natural marine habitats. The South Florida Based organization, The Celebration of the Sea Foundation, hosts entertaining and engaging educational programs with a specific focus on the world’s oceans and marine habitats. For more information, visit www.CoconutGroveSeafoodFestival.com.
