Ain't No Rest for Gasparilla Fest

 

Gasparilla Music Festival provides a refreshing experience to the live concert experience. The Tampa music festival was hosted in the central brewery location of South Florida with popular breweries: Coppertail, Cigar City, and Tampa Bay Brewing Company. The festival accommodated music lovers with an abundance of savory beer and food selections. The scenic venue was located amidst the business district buildings in downtown Tampa. The diverse festival featured an array of musical genres such as Electronic, Hip Hop, Folk, Psychedelic, and Alternative Rock. This year's festival headliners were Cage the Elephant and Ryan Adams. The festival also featured performances by local and national acts such as Veiny Hands, Twin Peaks, Ghostface Killah and many others.

Cage the Elephant performed an enticing performance at Gasparilla Music Festival. The view of the festival quickly became a sea of people anxiously waiting for the concert. They watched as the crew setup the stage with stunning equipment and large lighting. The audience chanted, "Cage the Elephant," as the crew methodically setup the stage. The singer, Matthew Shultz, ran across the stage at the start of the show and the audience went in an uproar. The group exhibited mesmerizing energy that enraptured the concert-goers. Matthew would sporadically shake, dance, jump, and get down on his knees throughout the concert. The audience sang every lyric to diverse albums such as, "Tell I'm Pretty," and "Melophobia." Their continuous performances of rapturous melodies and skillful instrumentals bewildered fans.

Cage the Elephant's camaraderie and chemistry is not only evident in their music but also in their onstage performances. Their music highlights an array of genres from Psychedelic Rock, Punk, and Blues Rock. The larger than life musicians provide a memorable and lifelong musical experience to their fans.
