A Beach Community With A Big Heart

In the shore towns of Bradley Beach and Neptune City, New Jersey, the Bradley Beach Fire Department drove through sirens blaring as they collected food for the Bradley Beach Food Pantry.

The food pantry, which serves those in need within a ten mile radius, had asked for goods they were in dire need of. These goods included, but were not limited to: pasta, cereal, and canned meals. Residents were asked to put their donations either on their porch or near their front door.

Those who wished to donate directly or live out of the collection area were encouraged to drop their donations off at the food pantry. Members of the fire department, along with volunteers, divided the towns and conquered as they had filled not only the food pantry but also the local church’s basement with donations.
