North Beach Boogie featured live performances by The Grinns, Sugar Candy Mountain, Tunnels, Leroy from the North, and Plague Vendor

 

Local festival goers enjoyed live music, fashion, fun, and sun at North Beach Boogie music festival in San Clemente, California. The Southern California music festival featured musical performances of various genres by California artists: Tunnels, Leroy from the North, Sugar Candy Mountain, The Grinns, Plague Vendor, and more!

North Beach Boogie was hosted by Landers Liquor Bar at their San Clemente location. The festival also featured vendors from custom guitar shops, vintage clothing brands, and drink vendors: Jack Daniels, Golden Road Brewery, and more!

Not only were California art, music, vendors, and brands highlights at the weekend festival, so was fashion. Southern California attendees showed up to the festival wearing their prized festival outfits from exquisite jewelry pieces, studded boots, satin dresses, designer purses, and other apparel pieces.

 

TUNNELS

Southern California artists, Tunnels, kicked off the Sunday festivities with heavy rock tunes. The audience crowded around the stage under the bright sun and swayed and danced along to the group’s melodies. Their music featured galactic synthesizers, overpowering reverb, fuzzy guitar riffs, along with a special appearance of soft flute playing. Lead singer and guitarist, Eric, reminded the audience to ‘Stay Squachy!’ Audience members overjoyed danced around in the sand as the group performed spacey rock musical ensembles. The band composed of talented musicians combines heavy rock and psych rock with a good-natured comedic flavor which is reminiscent of groups such as Tenacious D. LEROY FROM THE NORTH

Los Angeles group, Leroy from the North, performed riveting country tunes which had the festival goers kicking up the sand in their boots while they boogied along to their live show. Audience members adorned their fashionable cowboy hats and sparkly cowboy boots which matched the theme of the music festival. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, lead singer, guitarist, and founder, Leroy Wulfmeier, also known by Eli, combines Bluesy undertones with classic Southern country rhythms. PLAGUE VENDOR

Neo-Punk LA Rockers, Plague Vendor, pumped the audience during their engaging live set. Brandon Blaine interacted with the audience throughout their show. He climbed the stage barricades to almost of the stage roofing. He pulled upon the stage barricades playfully provoking the front row audience. During their climatic finale, Blaine climbed over the front row fencing and stage drove unto the crowd. THE GRINNS

Orange County musicians, The Grinns, began their musical fate as high school friends in History class. The group has an abundant following of adoring music fans which wrapped around the main stage in anticipation of their set. The Grinns delighted the audience as they performed tracks from their latest EP release, ‘Let’s Go Out’ and tracks from their two albums, ‘Let The Daze Go’ and ‘Golden Hour.’ Formed in 2014, the group released their debut album “Golden Hour” in 2018. The contemporary Indie Pop Rock group is inspired by artists such as The Smiths and The Beatles. Their music also incorporates Jangle Pop themes. SUGAR CANDY MOUNTAIN

Their Neo-Psychedelic Pop music is reminiscent of the golden age of the classic 1970s Haight Ashbury scene. Their groovy tunes are an ideal backdrop for bohemian California living with sensational retro melodies. With a devoted fan base, Sugar Candy Mountain, grabbed the attention of their California music community as they performed local live shows throughout the state and were featured on various Spotify curated playlists.
